All rev specs can be made to be incredibly tanky. You can check youtube for that and you’ll probably find Hizen. It’s possible to solo all HoT points with any class, the question is if you want to bother doing it. Some specs are just ass to play solo. (You can solo them with a known now-trash build like condi druid.) 23.

Condi Specter is probably best for soloing champs, especially if running ritualist gear + scavenger runes. Can have a huge effective health pool with shroud and can heal itself decently with Consume Shadows and either Skelk Venom or the heal well. Being condi and ranged is great for champs bc you can kite them around.

Elite Specializations. They take 250 hero points to fully unlock, but, expansion hero challenges give you 10 hero points per versus 1 point per in central Tyria, so unlocking them is not nearly as daunting as it sounds. I still see HP trains almost nightly in HoT, I'm sure they are as frequent in PoF too. No news yet. For the record HoT specs required 400 on launch. They might do something similar and inflate PoF elite specs even more but make PoF hero challenges give even more hero points (like 20 points per challenge but 500-800 to unlock the specialization). Then again I remember a lot of people being really frustrated with how elite specs in
Not Getting Hero Points. So I've unlocked every elite spec all the way for every character but my ranger. I'm unlocking hers now and only need 40 more points. Cool so that means 4 more challenges and I'm done. I'm doing ones in the heart of thorns areas, namely the robot one, the mushroom king one etc. After I've done all them though I realize
They have core class fully unlocked, MAYBE unlocked first point into some elite spec (you know, that one which gives you gimmick and weapon), maybe one or two traits and thats it. This is not to say that core classes are non viable but they are straight up weaker. Unlocking those specializations require hero points, 250 to be exact.
Yeah, that was what I did I had characters with 250hero points ready before EoD came out. In central, the jungle and the desert there are >750 points available that can be unlocked with older testimonies. Kitten Elite Specs? Are the Charr getting a racial elite spec that let's them become a parent with their kittens fighting for them?
1 day ago · How many hero points per elite spec GW2? 1. It will take 250 hero points to fully unlock an elite specialization, and all points can only be obtained through completing hero challenges found in the relevant expansion’s zones or purchased from a Heroics Notary. The other way to get hero points is from the open world hero points in the expansion maps that are worth 10 points each; a far more efficient way to get points. So really you don't have much of a choice when it comes to avoiding exploring the open world while maxing your specs. My only suggestion might be to follow a hero point train. When you I think this resulted in some amount of hero points in heart of thorns being nerfed so it was easier to get enough points to unlock your elite spec. That was the transition of hero points being worth 1 point to 10 in the expansions.
TLDR: Don't worry about using the hero points, just play what you want and try as many different things as you can to learn and get a feel for them. You get enough Hero Points by the time you turn 80 to buy out all the (non elite) stuff anyways. Pack a scepter in your backpack, don't run only signets, an have fun testing everything out.
