It's a 2015 i30 but I think the schedule is the same. It goes without saying that not having it serviced by a dealer could give then an excuse for not honouring the warranty. I change the engine oil myself every 10,000 miles, using the recommended Shell Helix AG, and a genuine Hyundai filter (which is a Mahle branded part).
I actually prefer a timing belt over a chain. Usually easier to access and change. Stick to the intervals and your fine. timing chains are good don’t get me wrong if designed correctly. I used to be a mechanic before moving into engineering and I’ve seen first hand the results of premature chain failure.
Service intervals on Hyundai models - occur every either at 10,000km (for petrol turbo models), 15,000km or yearly (whichever you reach first). You can purchase our pre-paid service plans for as many service intervals as you want (as long as you purchase a minimum of two intervals).
The service advisor is telling me that is every 10,000 mi. I come from owning a veloster turbo and I changed my oil every 3 to 5 thousand with full synthetic. 8000 miles for normal use, 5000 miles for severe use. 0w-20 for non-turbo engines, 0w-30 for turbo engines, full synthetic for both.
New Tucson 2022 AWD oil change intervals. Need advice to figure out proper oil change interval for new 2.5 L gas engine Tucson 2022 AWD Essential Trim. According to dealership recommendation I need to change oil every 6000 miles but my colleague at workplace told that this is bullshit and for new car first change could be not less than 10000 miles.
If you track or auto cross the car often, you will want to change with earlier intervals. I couldn’t find 3,000 miles mentioned anywhere in the manual for first oil change, although it mentions under “severe usage conditions” to change it every 3,000. It’s every 6,000 miles. Yes it’s 6k for normal intervals.

Currently the car has 100K miles on it. Nowhere in the manual it says anything about changing the breaking fluid. I called two Hyundai dealers and they both say they don't change break fluid period because Hyundai says you don't have to due to the brake system being sealed.
This service continues at 15,000 –, 22,500 –, 30,000 –, and so on, for every 7,500 miles. It’s always a good idea to follow the Hyundai owner’s manual to stay abreast of what other

We’ll get to oil change intervals, but first, double-dipping discounts and savings. The truth about saving thousands on a brand new car is that there are limits to how much you can pull - and you don’t get them twice. This question was one of two from David Roze, delivered in two parts, as he asks for help despite shopping elsewhere.
My previous i30 (2009.5 model year FD 1.6 u2 crdi) had an engine oil and oil filter change every 20,000 miles and new air, fuel and pollen filters every 100,000 miles. It's recommended service interval was 12,500 miles. In 8 years it gave me 288,818 largely trouble free miles and seems to be on the road with a new owner.
